A Well-Rounded Geek
PearlsofJannah posted a photo:
Perhaps we can look into expanding her geekiness in the future, lol.
Books
PearlsofJannah posted a photo:
Here are her books. She has assigned homework - no more than 12 minutes a day, which is cool with me.
Tha Backpack
PearlsofJannah posted a photo:
Her brother and sister are really eying this one. First, they wanted her Diego bag, but anything new is more exciting.
Tool of the Trade

This is the abacus/soroban that my daughter is using. A nice one would be wooden but for now, plastic is fine.

Day 251
More homeschooling stuff. She wanted to do this math stuff (we were working on subtracting today). She loves these little links!
And no, we don't do homeschooling stuff constantly...it's just that she's been very interested in it lately and it also happens to be the time when I took her picture for her 365.

UCMAS Gear
PearlsofJannah posted a photo:
We enrolled her in UCMAS - A mental arithmetic program to help develop her cognitive abilities. It's for two hours once a week but she has daily homework. She has a Soroban abacus, a backpack, books, and her new school t-shirt.
"just do this (shake-a shake-a) with your hips"
Aria Fotografia posted a photo:
All this time I thought hula came from the hips--NO!!! It comes from the KNEES! The hips just naturally follow then!
Brave Warriors
Aria Fotografia posted a photo:
Hula was initially done by the men before they went off to war...it was a way to say goodbye, get the warrior juices flowing, entice the ladies with a peek behind their loincloths...
